Dear valued client,

Re: – Annual Newsletter.

First of all, allow us to thank you for being such loyal and consistent clients of Smhart Security over the years. Your satisfaction is very important to us, and we hope we have been successful in providing you with excellent customer service and products.

Annual Increase in Fees:

Once again we have come to the point in the year that we had to look at the budget and take into account all the expenses associated with the running costs of the company.  Even with our best endeavors, we have no choice but to implement an increase in our monthly Monitoring and Response fee effective as from the 1st of April 2018. Our Annual Radio Admin fee will also increase as of the 1st of March 2018.

Our monthly Monitoring and Response Fee will increase by 8% yet not exceeding a maximum fee of R375-80 per month per premises. Please note that this amount still excludes any SMS or additional services and their rates will not be increased this year and will, therefore, stay the same.   Our Annual Radio Admin fee will be increased to        R180.00 p/a, effective from the 1st March 2018. We hope you will understand that this was inevitable and we tried our utmost best to keep the increase as low as possible. To all our newest clients who joined the Smhart Family, you will find that you are already at the new rate and therefore the increase does not apply to you.

New Upgrades:

As our clients have become accustomed to, we would like to introduce you to a newly added feature that is currently in the testing phase and we are hoping to launch it within in the next 3 months.

The AVTech product integrates your CCTV system with our control room software allowing our control room to receive camera footage from your AVTech System when your alarm has been triggered. This product will also allow you,  the client the opportunity to view the footage on your cell phone and or tablet. This is a unique product and we are very excited about its launch. Please note that you will have to have the necessary equipment installed and T’s & C’s will apply.

As this new feature is still in its testing phase we would like to request any of our clients who would like more information in this regard to contact either Andries: info@smhart.co.za or Riana: riana@smhart.co.za directly for any queries. We are hoping this newly added feature will enable our clients to have better control of their security with a more hands-on approach.

Admin Department:

Our Admin manager Lorraine kindly requests that all clients make note to check at the bottom of each invoice or statement to

ensure you make payments into the correct bank account, using your unique payment reference noted on your invoice/statement.

Operational / Response:

Our Operational Manager Tubby,  has once again kindly requested that our clients keep us updated with any changes to their properties i.e.: gate motors, codes and or locks in order to access the property. Our Response Officers can only effectively inspect your property if they are allowed access to your yard.  Tubby is also in the process of replacing old and broken Smhart signboards and requested that our clients communicate with our offices should they feel that their signage needs to be replaced.

Control Room:

Our control room supervisor Catharné (Cat) Buys will be able to assist you with any possible changes of key holder information, access and or passwords should you need to make any changes to your profile. Cat will periodically contact clients in order to update old information. This will ensure that our Control Room is kept up to date with the newest information and or instructions as given by our clients.

General:

In general, we would like to remind our clients that it is in your best interest to test your alarm systems on a regular basis. This can be done by informing our control room that you are going to test your alarm. Once you are done testing, you can contact them again and go through the signals received. Should you find any peripherals that are not working appropriately or to your satisfaction it is recommended that you contact our Technical department for an appointment.

Please note that no other department can make an appointment on behalf of the technical department and it is recommended that you speak directly to Adele: Technical Co-Ordinator or alternatively to Ilse: Technical Admin should you require any technical assistance or bookings during office hours.  They can be contacted Monday to Friday 08:00 to 17:00 on our landline (044) 533 5514.

We kindly request that our clients contact our offices in order to have your details updated. This will be any email changes, contact numbers, change of agents/pool cleaners/garden services and or change of ownership. We would like to keep all your details updated but can only do so if our clients inform us of these changes in writing.

Smhart Alarms is not just a company but a family; we strive to always better our service and commitment to you, our extended family. As always we have an open door policy and you can be assured of our personal service and the commitment of every team member.
